Painter Annie Robertson and her architect husband Ian, moved to Italy from Scotland in 1999. They recently restored  their 19th Century 'casale' retaining its beautiful original form at the same time creating modern comfortable living spaces which house their extensive collection of paintings and iconic pieces of furniture.  They have an acre of garden, which includes an orchard, a paved courtyard, vegetable garden, vines, olives and a lovely pool (3m X 8m) which blends discreetly into the surroundings.  Just for two Italy offers delightful self-catering accommodation for two people in the Orchard Apartment. 

The apartment, on the ground floor of this beautiful casale, has its own private entrance, dining terrace and orchard garden leading to the gorgeous pool . . . for sole use of our guests between 10 am and 5 pm.  The elegant sitting room is filled with art, a library of DVDs and books galore.  The room is an eclectic mix of old and new and the Corbusier chaise is a perfect place to chill out.  The romantic bedroom is comfortable, spacious and bright.  There is a great bathroom with big bath with drench shower.  There is a dear little kitchen but with so many good affordable restaurants nearby . . . you may not feel like cooking!  Annie's welcome pack is one of the very best around.
